About me

I’m Emily, a relationship-focused super connector, facilitator, consultant, and coach. I help teams build positive relationships, make powerful connections, and deliver meaningful projects. With a background in higher education, I specialise in bridging the gap between academia and industry, bringing together communities, organisations, and businesses to exchange ideas and expertise in creative and unique ways. This experience means I’m ideally placed for working with diverse groups to help them develop new ideas and projects that create impact, and working with me is people-centred and collaborative.

I’m passionate about organising and facilitating events that empower people and communities. Over the years, I’ve supported and delivered numerous events and workshops, including a national conference on student knowledge exchange. Most noticeably, over the last 5 years I have organised and delivered six Hackathon Weekends, supporting over 200 aspiring entrepreneurs across the UK.

Whether it’s taking the stress out of an important event or helping you get a project to the finish line, EB Consulting is here to make a difference. Get in touch below to see how we could work together.

Coaching

I am a Certified coach with the Moe Foundation and member of the Association for Coaching.

In my coaching I enjoy helping people to find greater self-awareness, renewed energy and motivation, and a refreshed sense of purpose. I do this by creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative space, bringing meaningful questions, and providing gentle accountability.

I am an Accredited Facilitator with the Association of Facilitators.

As a facilitator I love injecting energy and lifting the space, while also being genuine and open with everyone. Allowing me to create a space where your participants feel valued and value one another.

Read some of my work:

I recently worked with the National Centre for Academic and Cultural Exchange (NCACE) to develop a publication exploring ethics and care in cultural knowledge exchange. "Careful Collaborations: Ethics and Care In Cultural Knowledge Exchange and Trans-Disciplinary Research" explores the ethical considerations that are essential to fostering equitable, respectful, and productive collaborations between higher education and the arts and cultural sector.
